After years of planning, Bankstown RSL underwent a redevelopment using land next to their adjacent older club. The brand new Bankstown RSL has opened and is creating a hub of activity in Bankstown.
Prior to the redevelopment of the club some of the issues that were faced at the older club included traffic flow, privacy and a lack of technology. The club was in need of a major redevelopment of it’s facilities and service offerings.
Bankstown RSL was looking for a well rounded and well laid out gaming floor that had a good flow of traffic. It needed to have space for punters to move around and feel comfortable in the environment. It also needed to have privacy for customers and technology was a key requirement. A USB portal in every poker machine base was something that the club wanted.
Arizona Poker Machine bases with USB ports and ergonomic gold footrest was chosen and installed along with custom Ayana privacy screens to create added comfort and privacy to the Gaming Room. The Gaming Room is both indoors and outdoors and caters to all patrons needs.
Since completing the redevelopment of the club, Bankstown RSL has noticed an increase in overall revenue. They have moved bases around as needed to enable pinch points to be resolved and have used Capital Design Works when needed to assist in this process. The club is open to creating even more space in the Gaming Room, improving flow and changing things up to ensure the maximum player comfort.
