Capital Design Works has elevated Bomaderry Bowling Club’s gaming rooms, crafting a standout player environment
Balgowlah RSL wanted to create a new Gaming Room to lift the look of the Club as well as attract and keep patrons. The project involved replacing Poker Machine Bases and Privacy Screens in the new room.
Club Marconi began the first stage of their Gaming Room renovations back in 2016, with Stage 1 of the refurbishment addressing their VIP room and main indoor gaming area. Stage 2 of the renovations were completed in late 2018, which focussed on updating their expansive outdoor gaming area.
According to Harp’s owner, the completed project is “one of the nicest gaming rooms around”.
Prior to the redevelopment, Bankstown RSL was in need of major change. Traffic flow, privacy, space and technology was a big problem for the club.
Hotel management says that Capital was easy to work with and offered great ideas for the renovation, and that the feedback from customers has been very positive.
The historic Cabbage Tree Hotel has serviced the coastal suburb of Fairy Meadow in Wollongong NSW for at least 100 years. The hotel today is described by the owners as largely a food and live sports venue.
The Bomaderry Hotel is situated about 150km south of Sydney in the Shoalhaven township of Bomaderry. The hotel focuses on providing great food, live sports, events, and of course, gaming opportunities for people living in or passing through the district.
Changes in NSW Smoking legislation meant that Eastern Suburbs Leagues Club needed to rethink their Gaming area, so they engaged Gaming Room designer Tony Donnelly to create a new Room design. Easts Leagues then engaged Capital Design Works to design, manufacture and install the Gaming Room Furniture including Joinery, Poker Machine Bases and Privacy Screens.
The Leumeah Hotel undertook a major renovations, including their Gaming Room, which was last refurbished approximately 4-5 years ago.  The purpose of the refurbishment works was to update the look and feel of the venue, making it a contemporary space that would feel vibrant, open and inviting.
The Wollongong Golf Club’s gaming room has undergone major modifications that have given it a wow factor and provided a big income boost.
Prior to the renovations, the club at Singleton Diggers Alroy Park was tired and outdated and in serious need of renovations. The smoking area was still the existing smoking area since the bans came into play in 2004.
The Railway Hotel Lidcombe is a very competitive top ranking room; renowned for exceptional service. The hotel was experiencing increasing local competition and the gaming room was old, tired and dated. It was in need of an upgrade to modernise the room and create a better use of the space.
Kingsgrove RSL undertook a major renovation including their Gaming Room and had engaged Boden Projects and Altis Architecture as well as specialist Gaming Floor Plan designer, Chris Wright. Kingsgrove RSL General Manager Ian Todd then engaged Capital Design Works to design, build and install the Poker Machine Bases & Privacy Screens as he done on previous projects.
