Frequently Asked Questions

It is hard work and time consuming planning and designing your Gaming Room. We have put together some frequently asked questions to help make this process a little less daunting.

Q: What width do the new bases need to be?
A: Generally 1000mm wide but it is all relative to the space you have in your gaming room. We are always happy to discuss your needs and spacial requirements.

Q: How much does it cost to fit out a gaming room?                                                   A: It depends on things like how many bases do you need, do you want screens. Are you looking for a standard, premium or custom look and feel. What upgrades and options do you want, finishes, look and feel of the room etc.

Q: what is the best height for our new bases?
A: this is best answered by reviewing the height of your gaming chairs. Most current chairs will lend themselves to a height of 500mm but as with all our products, we are happy to discuss your needs as every venue has a different criteria based around demography and building restrictions to name a couple.

Q: Can I order more bases exactly same if I get more machines?
A. Yes, your base specification are kept on file and can be reproduced. With the exception of laminate is still available from suppliers.

Q: How much is a base?
A. This all depends on what you are looking for. Are you going for a premium look and feel with add-ons such as USB ports, LED lighting or are you looking for more of a standard approach. Depending on these things we can work to tailor your bases to your needs and budget.

Q: How much is a screen?
A. As with bases the cost of a screen depends on the style of screen you want, the look and feel you want and the privacy factor as well as add-ons, thickness and whether you want customisation.

Q: Can I get a base/screen that you have in stock to reduce lead times?
A. We don’t keep bases/screens in stock. All jobs are made to the customers orders.

Q: Do you 2nd hand bases?
A. No

Q: Who did the plan at xxxx hotel/club and what finish/base/screen did they use?
A. Capital Design Works drew this plan OR xxxx designed the Gaming Room and we used these particular products.
